Tether AI is operated by Max Selections LLC(“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use trytether.ai and related services.

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo to create your account. We do not access your Google data beyond what you explicitly authorize.

How we use your data

  • Your conversations with the assistant are stored to provide conversation history and context.
  • Memories you save are stored to personalize your experience.
  • Activity logs are stored to provide transparency into what your assistant does.
  • Scheduled tasks and routines are stored to execute actions on your behalf at the specified times.

Google data

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we access only the specific data needed to fulfill your requests (e.g., reading calendar events, creating events). We do not store your calendar data permanently. Access tokens are stored securely and used only when you or your assistant makes a request.

Telegram data

Messages you send are processed by our assistant and stored as conversation history. Voice messages are temporarily processed for transcription and not stored as audio files.

SMS / Text messaging

If you opt in to SMS by providing your phone number on your dashboard, we collect and store your mobile phone number for the sole purpose of delivering SMS messages you have explicitly consented to receive. These include: account verification codes, replies from the AI assistant when you text it, and reminders or scheduled briefings you configure.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or any SMS content with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS content are not shared with any third party except our SMS infrastructure provider (Twilio), which is solely used to deliver messages on our behalf and is bound by its own privacy commitments.

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies based on your usage and the routines you configure. Standard message and data rates may apply.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases hosted on Vercel and Neon. We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties. AI processing is handled by Anthropic (Claude) and follows their data processing policies.

Your control

  • You can view and edit all memories your agent has stored about you.
  • You can view your complete activity log at any time.
  • You can delete individual memories, tasks, and routines.
  • You can delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings.
